High Cube Shipping Containers

A high cube is a foot taller inside than a standard box, which is the difference between a usable workshop and a crouch. The extra headroom is what makes conversions, mezzanines and tall pallet racking work, and it costs very little more per square foot.

Good to know about high cube shipping containers

Answers to what buyers ask us most. More on the FAQ page, shipping and financing pages.

How is high cube shipping containers delivered?
Anything that cannot go on a parcel service ships by LTL freight on a pallet or crate. The delivery options on each listing — lift-gate service, kerbside unloading, residential delivery — are priced separately because the right one depends on what you have on site. If you have a forklift or a backhoe rated for the crate weight, you do not need to pay for a lift gate.
What do I need to check before ordering high cube shipping containers?
For anything that lifts a vehicle: ceiling height, concrete thickness and cure, and the electrical supply. Most two-post and four-post lifts want at least four inches of 3,000 psi concrete, and many machines want 220V single phase rather than a standard wall outlet. Every listing shows the manufacturer's own specification grid, so those numbers are on the page before you buy.
Is high cube shipping containers covered by a warranty?
Yes — the manufacturer's warranty is shown on each listing where the maker publishes it. Lift warranties are usually tiered rather than a single figure: typically five years on the steel structure, three on hydraulic parts and two on electrical components and power units.
