10ft fabricated steel storage container – new build from used container stock Our 10ft fabricated steel storage container is a purpose-built unit that fills a real gap in the market. Standard 10ft containers are hard to find in the second-hand sector. We solve this by cutting a used 20ft container in half and re-fabricating it into a strong, secure 10ft unit. The result is a brand new build with the durability of a full-size container. It suits the construction, retail, and defence sectors. We re-weld the end frame and fit the original two swing doors. Steel edge castings stay in place for overhead lifting. We can also fit fork pockets for ground-level empty lifting. About two-post lifts

A two-post lift carries the vehicle on four arms under the frame or pinch welds, leaving all four wheels hanging free. It is the fastest lift to work under and the one most general repair bays are built around.

What to check before you order

• Ceiling height — a clear-floor lift needs room for the overhead beam, a baseplate lift does not
• Concrete thickness and cure: four inches of 3,000 psi concrete is the usual minimum
• Symmetric or asymmetric columns — asymmetric rotates the car back so the doors clear the posts
• Arm reach at full drop, if you intend to lift both a low sports car and a long-wheelbase truck
