Furthermore, each stand carries a Safe Working Load of 40,000 lbs (18 tons) — well within the gross weight capacity of a fully loaded 20ft container. As a result, it provides a stable, rated support platform for storage, site office, and stacking applications. A full set of four covers all the corner positions of a single 20ft container. These container stands are compatible with standard 20ft ISO shipping containers. Corner casting slots accept standard ISO corner fittings — no modification required for most 20ft units. Not recommended for 40ft containers — use 40ft rated stands for longer spans. Therefore, four stands at 40,000 lbs SWL each provide a combined rated capacity that exceeds the maximum gross weight of a 20ft container with significant safety margin.
