Applied directly to the steel walls, cargo doors, and ceiling, it creates a seamless thermal and vapor barrier that helps control temperature, moisture, and condensation. Choose between 2" or 3" insulation depending on how you plan to use your container. Insulation Options 2" Closed Cell Spray Foam — Approximately R-12 to R-14 A great choice for workshops, storage, and most conditioned spaces. Provides excellent insulation while keeping cost down. 3" Closed Cell Spray Foam — Approximately R-18 to R-21 Recommended for offices, living spaces, and applications where maximum heating and cooling efficiency is important. Closed-cell spray foam typically provides approximately R-6 to R-7 per inch . Underfloor Insulation Choose Interior + Underfloor for a more complete thermal envelope.
